Santa María Huatulco is a town in the Mexican state of Oaxaca, located in the Sierra Sur of the same; founded on January 8, 1539, although there are indications and testimonies that maybe it was before, around 1522, by Pedro de Alvarado and currently has a population of 7.409 inhabitants.
It is the seat of the municipality of the same name and in whose territory is the tourist destination known as Bahías de Huatulco, a favorite by many tourists for the incredible activities you can do there.
